Emergency messaging

AusAlerts will be sent to mobile phones and other devices about emergencies and disasters such as:

natural hazards like bushfires, floods, cyclones and tsunamis
security threats
biosecurity incidents
public health emergencies.

AusAlert messages should only be received by people near the area affected by the emergency.
